BOYS RECRUITING RULES SUMMARY

Here is a summary of the recruitment rules this year as imposed by the RMR:

BOYS Open Gyms  at The EDGE will begin on June 3.  We will begin making verbal offers at open gyms starting the Open Gym on Saturday, July 8.

Verbal Offers:

• Clubs may begin to give verbal offers to players on July 6th
• Verbal offers are NOT binding until the contract has been signed (see “designated signing dates,” below).

Tryout Period:

• Tryout dates are AFTER contract dates.  Therefore, we will use tryouts to fill spots we have NOT ALREADY FILLED through OPEN GYMS. It is important to come to our Open Gyms!
• Tryout period begins  August 7, and ends once you have filled your rosters.
• No official Tryouts may be held prior to this date.
• Clubs may advertise and offer camps, clinics, lessons, evaluations, and pre-tryouts activities as they see fit prior to August 7, but subject to the Open Gym restrictions above
• Clubs can determine if they will charge for tryouts or not.

Player contract signing:

• PLAYERS RETURNING TO YOUR CLUB may be offered contracts beginning July 28th
• Contracts for players NEW to your club may be offered beginning July 31.
• Any contracts signed prior to this date and time will be null and void.
• Deposits can be requested by Club.
• All contracts must include a clear date and time stamp with each signature in order to be considered valid.
• It is up to the club to determine the amount of time they will give parents/guardians to sign these contracts.
• Once the contract is signed, it is binding, and player/player representative  will not be allowed to sign with another club for the 2023-2024 season.

Tryouts for the 2023-2024 Club Season will be held at our gym location:  3395 Carder Ct, Unit C300, Littleton, CO 80129

Since Tryouts are not until August, we will fill most teams via July OPEN GYMs. Tryout dates/times are TBA.
